Cerritos, CA Position Summary The Customer Account Representative serves as the primary point of contact for a key strategic customer account , delivering exceptional service and ensuring the seamless execution of the order fulfillment process. This role partners closely with the customer, suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to coordinate orders, manage account activity, provide proactive communication, resolve issues, and support sales operations. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Process customer orders with suppliers and distributors accurately and efficiently. Review orders for compliance with pricing, terms, conditions, and delivery requirements. Manage backlog reports and open orders within GST systems and customer portals. Monitor, track, and follow up on quote logs and open order activities. Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and ensure timely resolution. Respond to customer inquiries and provide proactive order status updates. Identify customer needs and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. Manage day-to-day customer service requests and operational inquiries. Assist the sales team with customer Requests for Quotes (RFQs), including response preparation and documentation. Support order management processes to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve order-related issues. Perform additional customer service, administrative, or operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in excellent customer service, sales support , order management, business operations, or a related field. Experience working with suppliers, distributors, procurement processes, or order fulfillment preferred. Experience preparing price quotes and managing large volumes of data is a plus. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to analyze information, think critically, and solve problems independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to responsiveness and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Flexible and adaptable, able to quickly adjust to changing priorities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
