Location:
South Bend, IN. (100% onsite) Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in South Bend, IN. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and payroll regulations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Administer and process weekly payroll for 100+ employees , ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries. Prepare payroll-related reports, reconciliations, and journal entries. Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, wage adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and benefits. Calculate and administer overtime, bonuses, and shift differentials . Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Assist with payroll audits and year-end payroll activities. Qualifications 5+ years of payroll processing experience. Hands-on experience with ADP Payroll systems . Proven experience processing payroll for 100+ employees . Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax withholdings, and payroll compliance requirements. Experience calculating and processing shift differentials and other complex payroll adjustments. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus. CPP certification is a plus. Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is strongly preferred.
