Direct Job #30298 Senior Payroll Associate Our client, a leading global private investment firm , is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Associate to join its established Payroll team in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional to join a sophisticated, fast-paced organization and take ownership of payroll processing for 1,000+ U.S. employees across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using ADP Communicate directly with ADP to resolve payroll issues Prepare manual and off-cycle payroll payments Record payroll activity and reconcile journal entries in Workday Manage payroll-related items including fringe benefits, deductions, and 401(k) elections Reconcile monthly payroll bank statements Serve as a resource for employees regarding payroll questions and issues Support annual payroll and corporate audits Partner with Finance and HR on payroll-related projects and initiatives Assist with various ad hoc payroll and accounting responsibilities
Ideal Candidate:
5-8 years of payroll experience Strong experience with ADP , preferably ADP Workforce Now Experience with Workday Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience managing multi-state payroll in a complex organization Excellent communication and organizational skills Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information Bachelor's degree required, preferably in
Accounting or Finance Compensation:
$90,000-$100,000 base + discretionary annual bonus
