Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This part-time position requires onsite availability three days a week, specifically Monday through Wednesday, with a focus on handling payroll operations efficiently and accurately. As a Contract to permanent position, this opportunity offers potential for long-term growth within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Process biweekly payroll for approximately 260 field employees and 30 office staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile invoices and organizational records, while managing garnishments and deductions as required.
• Maintain and update employee data in payroll systems to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports to support organizational decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with team members to understand business needs and facilitate seamless payroll operations.
• Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure employee satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll and taxation.
• Collaborate with the HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve operational efficiency.
