Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, and support our accounting team in routine accounting functions including the management and billing of multiple LLCs. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain payroll records and ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate. Prepare financial reports related to payroll, including tax filings and regulatory reporting. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Conduct account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation for multiple LLCs. Knowledge of quickbooks and ADP Required. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or Sage for various financial tasks. Skills Proficiency in GAAP and understanding of SOX compliance requirements. Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including tax experience and regulatory reporting. Familiarity with financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other accounting platforms. (MUST
HAVE 5+ YEARS OF EXPIRIENCE
) ADP Experience as well Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. Ability to interpret financial statements and prepare detailed reports on financial performance. Experience in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting is a plus. Strong analytical skills for cash flow analysis, account analysis, and auditing functions. Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles, debits & credits, journal entries, and accrual accounting practices. Solid understanding of financial management concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial acumen.
