Job Description
Pay Range:
$25.48 - $33.98 Prepare associates to assume mid-level professional roles inside NBT post the twelve month training process. Associates' preparation will be achieved through education, skills development (training) and actual work experiences providing both intellectual and skill growth. Performs assigned duties, responsibilities, and studies throughout the bank as required through the training program. Become familiar with the operations and procedures in each of the departments training is provided and temporary work assignments are assigned. Incumbents must rotate sequentially throughout the company on a specified training program. Areas of focus may vary but are likely to include Branch experience, Credit, Business Banking, Retail Collections, Operations, Consumer Lending and other related areas.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related degree required 3.0 cumulative GPA desired Prior work and volunteer experience desiredSkills and Abilities:
Strong writing, listening & communication skills are necessary. Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, customer relations and relationship-building skills required. Ability to lead and influence others. Problem solvingdecision making skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Ability to learn technical aspects of position.Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:
