We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Personal Banker (Senior Enrichment Advisor) in Salem, Oregon. This full-time position pays $24-$27 per hour plus incentives, based on experience. Spanish-speaking applicants who pass a proficiency test earn an extra $2 per hour. About the
Role :
As a Senior Enrichment Advisor, you will utilize your expertise and professionalism to create positive, trust-based experiences for OCCU members. Your warm and compassionate approach will help foster strong, lasting relationships. In this role, you will identify members' financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions to support both their current and future financial well-being. Responsibilities include offering financial guidance, opening consumer and business accounts, processing and funding loan applications, and actively promoting OCCU products and services. You will handle complex, unique, and escalated member situations with skill and resolve issues efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide outstanding member service by greeting members promptly, personalizing interactions, and recommending internal services accurately. Handle resolutions efficiently and maintain professionalism. Serve as a reliable advisor when interacting with both consumer and business members. Ask questions to clarify what members expect, need, or are concerned about, so you can suggest and provide the right products, services, and solutions. Build and maintain lasting relationships with members through various channels. Gain comprehensive knowledge of OCCU's range of personal and business products and services. Deliver clear and accurate information regarding all offers to members and prospective members. Gather relevant information about member needs. Tailor product or service recommendations, highlight member-specific benefits, use supporting factors, and address any barriers for each scenario. Actively contribute to branch and OCCU goals. Meet or exceed individual service and sales goals, using effective techniques that result in a positive member experience. Process consumer and business member requests, review credit reports, and prepare account or loan documents according to procedures. Clearly explain disclosures, follow up with members, understand business account and loan terms, and communicate effectively with business members about their OCCU relationships. Handle member financial transactions—deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments—quickly and accurately at the branch or by phone. Keep precise transaction records and balance cash drawers, vaults, and dispensers as needed.

Minimum of five years of similar or related banking experience.
