Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated On Demand Overnight Recovery Advisor to provide peer support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders and other behavioral addictions during overnight hours. This role involves sharing personal recovery experiences, offering emotional support, and assisting clients in maintaining their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals facing substance use challenges and possess a background in addiction counseling. This position plays a vital role in fostering a safe, supportive environment for clients during overnight hours, ensuring they receive timely assistance and encouragement. Responsibilities Provide peer support to individuals in recovery during overnight shifts, offering empathy and understanding based on personal recovery experiences. Share insights and strategies from personal recovery journeys to motivate and empower clients. Assist clients in managing cravings, triggers, and other challenges associated with substance use disorders and addictive behaviors. Offer emotional support and active listening to help clients navigate their recovery process during overnight hours. Collaborate with other recovery team members to ensure clients' needs are met promptly and effectively. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy policies while supporting clients in a professional manner. Document interactions accurately and report any concerns or significant developments to the appropriate team members. Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, preferably in a peer support or counseling capacity. Strong background in addiction counseling or related fields. Personal experience with recovery is highly valued, enabling authentic peer support. Excellent communication skills, including active listening and empathetic engagement. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining professionalism and composure. Knowledge of local resources and referral processes related to addiction treatment and recovery services is a plus. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
