Financial ConsultantJob Description The Contractor, Commercial FP&A & Dashboard Automation will help modernize and simplify financial planning, performance reporting, and decision support across the Global Commercial Office. This role will partner closely with Commercial Finance and Analytics teams to accelerate several projects already in flight and convert manual, fragmented reporting into scalable dashboards and repeatable processes. The role combines strong Commercial FP&A fundamentals with hands-on data, reporting, and process-improvement capabilities. The successful candidate will connect financial and operational drivers, improve transparency to business performance, and enable leaders to spend less time preparing data and more time acting on insights. Responsibilities

+ Partner closely with Commercial Finance and Analytics teams to accelerate ongoing projects.

+ Convert manual, fragmented reporting into scalable dashboards and repeatable processes.

+ Connect financial and operational drivers to improve business performance transparency.

+ Enable leaders to spend less time preparing data and more time acting on insights.

+ Build or improve financial reporting, KPI dashboards, or management information solutions.

+ Collaborate with Analytics, Data, BI, IT, or systems teams to deliver reporting solutions.

+ Operate independently and manage multiple workstreams in a matrixed environment.

+ Create momentum in ambiguous, cross-functional projects and bring structure and urgency. Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field. + 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, business analytics, or related discipline.

+ Strong financial modeling, variance analysis, and data interpretation skills.

+ Advanced Excel skills and experience with large or complex datasets.

+ Project management, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, or comparable financial and analytics platforms.

+ Experience in a global, matrixed, Commercial, MedTech, healthcare, or manufacturing organization.

+ Experience defining data requirements, metric governance, dashboard adoption, or reporting controls.

+ Experience simplifying and standardizing FP&A processes through automation.

+ MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification.

+ Self-starter with confidence to ask questions and find solutions in complex structures.

+ Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to drive to clarity without established playbook. Work Environment Onsite in Fridley HQ with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The expected contract duration is from October 5, 2026, to March 6, 2027. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
