Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team in support of pricing and quoting operations. The ideal candidate will leverage strong math, data analysis, and organizational skills to create accurate client quotations, negotiate competitive pricing with vendors, and make informed decisions based on comprehensive data analysis. This role is critical to optimizing costs and delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing and cost efficiencies. Prepare professional, accurate, and timely quotations (RFQs) for clients by gathering and analyzing cost data. Utilize Excel and other tools to summarize and present data insights effectively. Compare, analyze, and interpret data to support sound decision-making and deliver reliable outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of engineering is a plus but not required. Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or higher in a relevant field. Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong math skills, including the ability to perform arithmetic calculations and unit conversions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel for data analysis and reporting. Self-motivated and capable of working independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision.
