Job Description
Obra Capital is seeking an Analyst, Pricing and Optimization to join our growing asset management team in our New York Office.. The role sits within the policy group and will help manage all aspects of the owned policies. Day to day will involve evaluating the existing life contingent assets and ensuring they still align with portfolio objectives. In addition, this will work closely with the new acquisition team to optimize pricing.
BELOW ARE A LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities Work in the evaluation of existing life contingent assets by providing in-depth analytical support. Investment monitoring and performance reporting including, but not limited to, building reports, models, and performing analysis for current and potential investors. Maintain policies by creating and optimizing premium streams. Managing the grace notice and premium payment process. Manage various special projects on an ad-hoc basis that require analytical expertise. Master knowledge around portfolio management and the quantitative mechanics that underlie life contingent assets. Determine the value of life settlements on the secondary and tertiary market. Develop new and maintain existing pricing models. Communicate with clients, agents, and brokers to ensure case documentation is complete. Work with case managers to ensure timely response to clients. Compile data and produce reports to track market pricing trends.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree BA/BS in: Business, Economics, or Finance with demonstrated academic achievement or 0-2 years of experience in Life Settlements, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Consulting or related fields. Competence in Microsoft Excel or other database tools Desire to pursue a long-term career in the financial services industry. Excelling communication skill but written and verbal. Keen attention to detail Ability to deliver work in a timely and accurate manner.Similar remote jobs
