JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary Performs advanced engineering work in support of ONEOK's process safety team. Provides engineering analysis, technical guidance, and program support to strengthen process safety performance across all operating assets. Applies engineering principles, process safety practices, and applicable regulatory and industry requirements to evaluate risk, develop practical solutions, and promote consistent implementation of process safety standards and programs. Works collaboratively with operations, engineering, maintenance, local support teams and other stakeholders, with limited supervision. Location is flexible within ONEOK's footprint. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

+ Provide advanced engineering support and technical guidance for process safety programs and risk-reduction initiatives across ONEOK operating assets.

+ Perform and review engineering analyses related to process hazards, loss of containment, relief and flare systems, hydraulics, equipment and piping design, facility siting, and other process safety concerns.

+ Support Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), Layers of Protection Analyses (LOPAs), hazard reviews, and other risk assessments; evaluate safeguards and develop technically sound recommendations.

+ Provide engineering support for Management of Change ( MOC ), Pre-Startup Safety Review ( PSSR ), process safety information, mechanical integrity, and related process safety activities while maintaining clear alignment with local ownership and execution.

+ Interpret and apply applicable governmental regulations, engineering codes, consensus standards, and company requirements, including OSHA Process Safety Management, EPA Risk Management Program requirements and OMS Policies and Procedures.

+ Develop, review, and improve process safety engineering standards, guidelines, tools, templates, and technical practices to promote consistent application across the organization.

+ Evaluate process safety incidents, near misses, recurring issues, and risk trends; support root cause investigations and development of effective corrective actions.
