Full Job Description Risk Analyst Location:
Fully remote (US•Bay Area preferred)
Pay:
$65-75/Hr (W2)
Duration:
Initial 6-month contract (expected extension/conversion)
Schedule:
Full-time, M-F (40 hrs/wk)
Target Start:
June 2026

PTO Overview:
Seeking a Risk Analyst to support the People Data Subject Rights (DSR) Program within the People Privacy & Compliance team. This role focuses on managing employee privacy requests, ensuring compliance with global privacy laws, and protecting sensitive employee data.
Responsibilities:
Case Management:
Manage high-volume, end-to-end employee data/privacy requests (DSRs/SARs)
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with privacy laws including
GDPR and CCPA Data Integrity:
Review and securely retrieve/redact employee data
Risk Mitigation:
Identify privacy risks and support mitigation efforts
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation and audit records
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Legal, HR, and IT teams on privacy-related requests
Operational Excellence :
Support process improvements and operational workflows
Qualifications:
2-5 years of professional experience in risk management, privacy compliance, or data protection. (Core control in classic risk management structure•any time there is a workforce & private data, need to have a way for folks to access their data, know what they have collected. Someone who has US or European experience from privacy law perspective would be ideal•will support primarily US California privacy law) Strong foundational knowledge of global data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Proven ability to handle "straight up" case management workflows-comfortable with process-oriented, high-accountability tasks Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and regulatory language to make informed risk decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee information with extreme confidentiality and professionalism.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Law, Information Security, or a related field. CIPP certification recommended
Preferred Skills:
Direct experience managing DSR or SAR (Subject Access Requests) in a corporate environment. Familiarity with HR data structures and privacy automation tools. CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or similar privacy certifications Experience specifically within HR or People Data privacy. Famiiarity with automated DSR management tools and privacy software.
