Job Description
The Opportunity As a Tax Customs and International Trade Associate, you will navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, optimizing tax strategies and driving compliance to maximize business outcomes. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing innovative solutions that foster sustainable growth and help clients stay ahead in an ever-changing tax environment. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients, building meaningful connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. In increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge and understanding your strengths. In this role at PwC, you will engage in research and participate in project tasks, developing basic skills and knowledge in customs regulations and international trade operations. You will use critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will contribute to projects through support tasks, embracing ambiguity and using challenges as opportunities for growth. Responsibilities
- Navigating complex customs regulations to optimize international trade operations
- Supporting client engagements by contributing to tax strategy development and compliance efforts
- Utilizing customs brokerage skills to prepare and submit documentation for government clearance
- Applying intellectual curiosity to analyze customs tariffs and valuation processes
- Collaborating with teams to enhance tax technology solutions and improve reporting accuracy
- Participating in project tasks to develop skills in indirect tax compliance and controversy resolution
- Engaging in active listening to understand client needs and provide tailored tax services
- Assisting in the design and implementation of effective international tax structures
- Upholding compliance with cross-border regulations to minimize risks and seize opportunities What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, International Business, Supply Chain
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements What Sets You Apart
