Job Description
The Opportunity As a Senior Associate in our Tax practice, you will navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, providing tailored tax services to optimize strategies, minimize risks, and drive compliance. You will be instrumental in helping clients seize opportunities for sustainable growth in an ever-changing tax environment. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and maintain professional standards. You will focus on building meaningful client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while managing and inspiring others to deliver quality work. In this role, you will be part of our International Tax Services, providing comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies for businesses operating across borders. You will assist clients in navigating complex international tax regulations and optimizing their global tax position. Working within our Global Business Structuring network, you will design and implement effective international tax and legal structures, reinforcing compliance with cross-border regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills, while embracing increased ambiguity and using critical thinking to solve complex challenges. Responsibilities Analyzing complex international tax regulations to provide strategic tax planning and compliance solutions Developing and implementing tax-efficient structures to optimize global tax positions for clients Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute international tax strategies Conducting in-depth research on tax laws and regulations to inform client recommendations Preparing and reviewing tax documentation to support compliance with international tax laws Advising clients on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) strategies to minimize tax liabilities Assisting in the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in accordance with accounting standards Engaging with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored tax solutions Mentoring junior team members to enhance their understanding of international tax concepts Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax issues and develop actionable insights What You Must Have Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Laws degree At least a 3.0 overall GPA Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam What Sets You Apart Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes Navigating complex international tax regulations effectively Developing comprehensive tax strategies for cross-border operations Utilizing analytical thinking to optimize global tax positions Demonstrating skills in corporate tax planning and compliance Excelling in client-focused service delivery within international tax services The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
