TAX MANAGER

As a Tax Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of tax associates while developing and implementing strategies to provide excellent client service. ๐Ÿ’ผ Are you a seasoned CPA with a passion for tax management and leadership? Our client, a respected firm in financial services and public tax & audit, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager ready to take the next step on the shareholder track. This role offers the chance to lead complex tax compliance, planning, and consulting engagements while mentoring a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, non-profits, and small businesses.
  • Manage client relationships with clear communication and expert interpretation of financial records.
  • Conduct advanced tax research to address complex planning and compliance issues.
  • Supervise, develop, and coach staff to enhance technical skills and professional growth.
  • Drive firm culture and contribute to business development initiatives.
What You Bring:
  • CPA license is required; a Master's degree in Tax is preferred.
  • 10+ years of public accounting experience, especially in tax preparation and review.
  • Strong general tax knowledge with specialization a plus.
  • Proven leadership and client acquisition skills.
  • Proficiency in UltraTax software.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak tax seasons.
