This role is ideal for a customer-focused banking candidate with teller experience, new account knowledge, and a strong interest in helping clients choose the right financial products and services. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional branch environment where accuracy, service, teamwork, and compliance are highly valued. The role supports both new and existing clients and provides exposure to consumer accounts, business accounts, teller operations, account maintenance, cross-selling, and branch administration. Candidates with stronger banking experience may be considered for higher-level responsibilities, including complex account support, transaction approvals, supervisory overrides, and operational assistance when branch leadership is unavailable. Key Responsibilities Open and maintain consumer checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and applicable business accounts based on experience level. Process teller transactions, new account transactions, account maintenance requests, account closures, and general banking inquiries with accuracy and professionalism. Interview and profile clients to understand financial needs, recommend appropriate banking products and services, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Ensure all account documentation is accurate, complete, approved, and properly uploaded into banking systems. Maintain compliance with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements, information security procedures, account titling rules, and documentation standards. Build strong client relationships, resolve service concerns professionally, and support branch business development, retention, and profitability goals.
