The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members while efficiently handling a variety of transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services and the ability to build relationships with members to promote our products and services.
- Duties
- Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cash drawer, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to security protocols.
- Assist members with account inquiries and provide information on financial products and services.
- Promote credit union products such as loans and savings accounts, utilizing effective sales techniques.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies during all transactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service and follow-up.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance member satisfaction.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or financial services environment is preferred.
- Strong math skills, particularly in retail math, are essential for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operations is required.
- Experience in financial sales or relationship management is a plus.
- Knowledge of loan processing and origination processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective member interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
