Overview The Regional Vice President (RVP), South Central is responsible for driving profitable growth, market expansion, and sales excellence across the region. This leadership role develops and executes strategic business plans to accelerate revenue growth, strengthen market presence, and expand Gallagher Bassett's footprint among mid-market and large accounts. The RVP serves as a trusted advisor to clients, prospects, brokers, and carrier partners while leading the pursuit of complex, high-value opportunities. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Client Services, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and IT , this leader ensures the delivery of innovative risk management solutions that address client needs and support long-term business objectives. Success in this role requires a combination of strategic vision, sales leadership, talent development, and market expertise. The RVP will build and mentor high-performing teams, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and represent Gallagher Bassett as a market leader throughout the South Central region. How you'll make an impact Strategic Growth & Market Leadership Develop and execute regional business and sales strategies that align with organizational goals and growth objectives. Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new business and expansion of existing client relationships. Lead the pursuit and closing of the region's largest and most complex opportunities. Identify emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities to strengthen market position. Establish Gallagher Bassett as the preferred risk management partner within targeted industries and geographic markets. Client & Broker Engagement Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, prospects, brokers, and strategic business partners. Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering innovative risk management strategies and customized solutions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop competitive proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies. Represent Gallagher Bassett at industry events, networking functions, and client engagements to enhance brand visibility and business development opportunities. Leadership & Talent Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on growth, accountability, and client success. Mentor emerging leaders and sales professionals to strengthen regional talent and succession pipelines. Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Partner with regional and national leadership to share best practices and drive organizational initiatives. Operational & Financial Performance Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and key business metrics to ensure achievement of regional objectives. Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Manage resources effectively to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. Support the development and implementation of regional policies, procedures, and performance standards. About you Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in business development, sales leadership, risk management, insurance brokerage, or related professional services. Demonstrated success leading sales organizations and achieving sustained revenue growth. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans and growth initiatives. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization. Preferred Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, CEBS, or other relevant industry certifications. Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and multi-market growth strategies. Strong financial and business acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Proven track record of building executive-level client relationships and closing complex opportunities. Demonstrated leadership capability in coaching, mentoring, and developing top-performing talent.
