full-time Corporate Controller A privately held consumer products company is hiring a Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Chicago. The Corporate Controller will oversee the monthly close, financial reporting, cash management, capital activity, internal controls, and process improvements. This person will partner closely with executive leadership and manage accounting across multiple areas of the business. Responsibilities Own the complete month-end and year-end close Oversee financial reporting and account reconciliations Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital activity Improve accounting procedures, controls, and reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and special projects Lead and develop the accounting team Partner with executive and operational leadership Requirements 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience Accounting leadership experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Strong monthly close and financial reporting experience CPA preferred but not required Compensation and Schedule $160k-$170k base salary Medical, dental, vision, and 401k PTO, sick time, and paid holidays 100% onsite, 5 days per week in Downtown Chicago Our specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.
