Job Description
Company Overview TSE International, Inc. is a privately owned company specializing in designing, manufacturing, and marketing conductor handling equipment used in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission, distribution lines, and telecommunications/fiber optic projects. Our product line also includes the OK Champion Rodder and Scrapper Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial operations with precision and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, manage financial reporting processes, and drive financial analysis to support our growth. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial systems and contribute to the company's long-term success. Duties Oversee the entire accounting cycle including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end/year-end closing processes. Manage financial reporting activities in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports and annual budgeting Complete job costing to include material, labor, and vendor services Plan and coordinate the annual physical inventory and complete associated reconciliations Review and assist with negotiation of customer proposed sales contract terms and conditions Skills Post-secondary degree in Accounting, CPA designation or equivalent Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting responsibilities You thrive on challenging yourself to grow and want to work with a team that will push you, trust you, and hold you accountable Intellectually curious, passionate about learning and being the best Sense of urgency, highly responsive and oriented towards action Can-do attitude, and respond in all situations with a positive and energized attitude Proven analytical abilities, detail oriented and practical decision-making skills Ability to earn respect from all levels of staff within the company Proven experience technical accounting functions such as general ledger accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and balance sheet reconciliation. Strong computer skills in Excel, Word and ERP accounting software Excellent understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Experience with regulatory compliance accounting including governmental reporting requirements. Effective leadership skills to manage finance teams while fostering a collaborative environment focused on accuracy and efficiency.
