Manager Salary:

Responsibilities:

Oversee and lead the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Additional controller duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position. Proven working experience as a Financial Controller. 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience. Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP). Ability to manipulate large amounts of data. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to direct and supervise.
