Type:

full-time Seeking a hands-on Treasury Manager / Assistant Controller to own the company's cash forecasting and liquidity management, drive collections on solar receivables in partnership with Sales and Operations, negotiate vendor payment programs, and maintain compliance with lender reporting and financial covenants. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible role requiring close collaboration with the Finance Partner Director and cross-functional business leaders.

Key Responsibilities Cash Forecasting & Liquidity:

Prepare and maintain the 13-week rolling cash flow forecast and daily cash position reporting; monitor variances and proactively flag liquidity risks to senior leadership. Report liquidity situation to private equity firm on both daily and weekly cadence.

Receivables Collections:

Partner with the Finance Partner Director and Sales + Operations leadership to accelerate collections on solar receivables, resolve billing and funding delays, and accelerate collections.

Vendor Payment Programs:

Negotiate payment terms, extended terms, and early-pay / supply-chain financing programs with key vendors to optimize working capital and support cash flow objectives. Role can ideally oversee captive Wcomp and P&C insurance policies.

Lender & Covenant Compliance:

Prepare and submit required lender reporting packages; oversee letter of credit issuances; monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with financial covenants under credit facility and financing agreements; coordinate with lenders on inquiries and reporting deadlines.

Banking & Cash Management:

Manage day-to-day banking relationships, account structures, and cash movements, including weekly disbursements.

Controllership Support:

Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal controls in the Assistant Controller capacity, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Sales, and Operations to align on receivable performance, cash impacts of business decisions, and process improvements linked to collections of roof top solar installations.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement enhancements to treasury, collections, and reporting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and forecasting precision using Claude AI, SalesForce and NetSuite. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA a plus. 5+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or accounting, ideally including Assistant Controller or similar responsibilities. Demonstrated experience building and managing 13-week cash flow forecasts and daily cash reporting. Experience with receivables collections, ideally in a high-growth, sales-driven, or asset finance / renewable energy environment. Working knowledge of lender reporting requirements and financial covenant compliance under credit agreements. Strong negotiation skills with vendors and financial counterparties. Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and treasury / cash management systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and executive leadership. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
