Direct supervision of 3 reports location: Henderson, Nevada job type: Permanent salary: $70,000•80,000 per year work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelor's degree experience: 5 Years responsibilities:Slot Audit Oversight:
Directly oversee gaming slot audits to ensure all revenue, meter data, and drop reconciliations are complete and accurate.Regulatory & MICS Compliance:
Ensure full alignment with Nevada Gaming Control Board (GCB) Regulations, Regulation 6A, and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).Discrepancy & Executive Reporting:
Immediately report audit discrepancies and deliver timely financial reports and insights to leadership and gaming compliance directives.General Ledger Management:
Maintain the General Ledger, perform monthly journal entry reviews, and execute thorough account analyses.Revenue & Balance Sheet Balancing:
Balance daily and monthly revenue while reviewing financial/statistical reports and balance sheet reconciliations.Team Leadership & Supervision:
Hire, train, and directly supervise 3 Audit Managers while indirectly leading a team.Culture & Operational Alignment:
Maintain company standards and policy compliance while fostering a collaborative, positive, and service-oriented work culture.qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Accounting/Financial experience (Gaming/Casino industry experience, particularly in slot audit oversight, strongly preferred).Licensing:
Must be able to obtain and maintain all required local and state gaming registrations/licenses.Technical Proficiency:
Exceptional PC and spreadsheet skills (Advanced Excel required).Regulatory Knowledge:
Solid understanding of GCB regulations, Regulation 6A, slot audit procedures, and MICS.Leadership & Work Style:
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently with minimal direction, handle multiple priorities, and delegate effectively.Communication:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with management, team members, and external auditors.skills:
