Job Description
We are hiring a Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting from our downtown Lake Oswego office. This is a senior, hands-on leadership seat: you'll own the close, the controls, and the reporting that leadership relies on
- and lead the team that delivers it. We welcome candidates from a property management OR a mortgage/lending background. What you'll do Own the full accounting cycle: month-end, quarter close, multi-entity consolidations, and financials Deliver timely, accurate management reporting Lead, mentor, and develop a senior accounting team
- set the standard and raise it Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and reporting integrity Bring discipline to the close and translate the numbers into decisions What you bring 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong background in either property management accounting or mortgage/lending
- we welcome either Proven experience in managing senior-level staff
- not just junior reports Strong business acumen: you translate financials into clear, actionable guidance for leadership Relevant systems experience to your domain (Yardi Voyager, QuickBooks, Nortridge Loan Systems, or similar)
