Controller

Job Summary We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Controller to lead financial operations within a dynamic university environment. This role ensures the integrity of accounting practices, oversees financial reporting, and provides leadership in financial strategy to support organizational growth and project success. Key Responsibilities Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. Serve as a key advisor on financial strategy, supporting executive decision-making. Manage general ledger, month-end close, and preparation of accurate financial statements. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with

GAAP/IFRS

standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Monitor project financials, including budgets, costs, and performance metrics. Review contracts and change orders for financial accuracy and scope alignment. Partner with project managers on cost estimates and financial forecasting. Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements. Support implementation and optimization of financial systems. Qualifications CPA (or equivalent senior financial management experience). Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in accounting/finance. Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS. Experience in construction accounting or project-based environments preferred. Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, and related systems is a plus. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay:

$110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
