This executive leadership position partners closely with the Chief Financial Officer and operational leaders to drive accountability, strengthen financial discipline, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term strategic growth. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in financial leadership, budgeting, forecasting, operational finance, and executive collaboration within a complex, multi-location organization. Healthcare, aviation, EMS, or other highly regulated industry experience is strongly preferred. The Senior Vice President of Finance serves as the organization's operational financial leader, responsible for driving financial accountability, budget discipline, and operational performance across the company. This position partners closely with executive leadership to improve financial results, strengthen operational efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial commitments are achieved. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style who can translate financial strategy into measurable operational execution. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Drive budget adherence and financial accountability across all departments. Partner with operational leaders to develop measurable financial action plans. Identify financial leakage, operational inefficiencies, and internal control weaknesses. Monitor key financial metrics including revenue, payroll, cash flow, maintenance costs, and operational performance. Lead weekly and monthly financial performance reviews. Develop corrective action plans to improve organizational financial performance. Support the CFO in holding department leaders accountable for financial commitments. Improve forecasting accuracy, budgeting processes, and financial planning. Provide executive-level financial analysis and recommendations. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Executive Leadership. Participate in strategic planning initiatives and organizational improvement projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field Seven (7) or more years of progressive financial leadership experience Experience with: Budget management Financial planning Cost control Cash flow management Forecasting Financial performance management Experience working in a multi-state organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency Experience using financial reporting systems Valid Driver's License Regular and reliable attendance required Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree (Finance, Accounting, MBA, or related field) CPA or other financial certification Healthcare, Air Medical, EMS, Aviation, or other highly regulated industry experience Experience working directly with executive leadership Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency and financial performance At Apollo, we know that we are all better together, and we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
