Job Summary The Vice President, Cost Segregation, Valuation is responsible for driving new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the overall growth and business operations of the Valuation & Advisory practice. This role serves as a key connection between clients, prospective clients, and valuation professionals, helping identify opportunities, coordinate new engagements, and deliver a responsive and consistent client experience. The Vice President, Cost Segregation develops and maintains a strong pipeline of prospective and existing clients, identifies opportunities to expand valuation services, coordinates incoming leads and requests, and partners closely with appraisers and Valuation leadership to convert opportunities into new business. This position is well suited for a highly organized, relationship-driven professional who understands commercial real estate, enjoys building connections, and can effectively manage both the strategic and operational components of business development. Essential Functions Drive new business development initiatives to support the growth and revenue goals of the Valuation & Advisory practice Identify, research, and pursue prospective clients and new valuation opportunities across target markets and property types Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, key decision-makers, and referral sources Serve as a primary point of contact for new business inquiries and provide a responsive, professional client experience Manage the business development pipeline from initial lead through proposal, engagement, or closure Coordinate incoming valuation requests and gather relevant property, scope, timing, and client information Partner with appraisers and Valuation & Advisory leadership to assign and coordinate new business opportunities based on expertise, geography, and capacity Conduct consistent follow-up on leads, proposals, and prospective assignments to support business conversion Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate additional valuation assignments Maintain accurate client, prospect, lead, and opportunity information within applicable CRM and business development systems Track and report business development activity, pipeline performance, conversion rates, client trends, and other key metrics Coordinate data collection and information needed to support proposals, presentations, client outreach, and new business initiatives Partner with Marketing and internal stakeholders on proposals, client materials, campaigns, networking initiatives, and business development efforts Identify and facilitate cross-selling opportunities by connecting clients with appropriate professionals and service lines across the firm Represent the Valuation & Advisory practice at client meetings, industry events, networking opportunities, and other business development activities Other Functions Perform other duties or projects as requested or required Essential Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. REQUIRED
3+ years of experience in business development, client relations, commercial real estate, professional services, valuation, appraisal, or a related field preferred Commercial real estate experience strongly preferred Experience developing and maintaining professional client relationships Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and manage a sales or business development pipeline Experience working collaboratively with technical or professional service teams preferred Familiarity with commercial real estate valuation and appraisal services is preferred but not required Work Environment This is a standard office environment with standard office noise like talking, office equipment, etc. In addition, this position may visit tenant sites in various settings which can be industrial in nature with loud noises and mild fumes Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is rarely active but may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee must frequently sit and use a computer for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities are required to do this job including close vision. The employee must sometimes lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds. The employee must be able to drive for short to moderate distances and/or times. The employee must often walk through the outdoors and various terrain environments.
