Job Description

Overview In a support role to the team the Multi-Line Underwriting Assistant responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: Responsibilities New Business support, such as, pre-bind risk analysis within prescribed authority, reconciliation of binds to ensure all issued. Renewal support including pre-underwriting review, quoting, system updates, data collection and any other non-core underwriting type duties as directed. Broker of record handling Endorsement review and pre-screening as directed Cancellation and reinstatement handling as directed. Recommendation review and handling. Special projects as needed Maintains ownership of tasks assigned and provide acceptable service standards when processing and assigning tasks. Provide agency support to assigned agents by answering general questions, providing endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, etc. or directs to correct contact. Qualifications Have the knowledge and skills needed to review Workers' Compensation lines of business. Proven team player and energetic personality. Positive "can-do" attitude 1-2 years of experience as an Underwriting assistant Ability to work individually and as part of a team. High commitment to achievement of business goals. Ability to work beyond core work hours Genuine interest and passion for the business demonstrated by actions. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet productivity deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with a desire to learn. The expected salary range for this role is $17.00-$26.00/HR. Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
