The Education Team is hiring Paraprofessionals and Classroom Aides in West Sacramento including, Woodland & Davis. Support students one-on-one or in small groups, build real classroom experience, and work on your terms!

Responsibilities:

Assist students with special needs in both general and special education classrooms. Students are categorized as Level 4 to Level 5 and require intensive support needs. This includes assistance with toileting, changing, and lifting students who are non-ambulatory. Support lead teachers with daily routines, learning activities, and behavior management Provide academic and emotional support in a caring, inclusive environment Work closely with site staff and follow teacher or program directions

Schedule:

Part-time or full-time — you choose your availability Minimum of 2 days/week, but 5-day availability is encouraged Assignments available Monday through Friday Schedules are matched to your preferences and availability

Requirements:

AA Degree or 48 College Units - REQUIRED BA Degree Preferred Experience with children or in a school setting is a plus Comfortable supporting students with special needs Negative TB test required prior to hire Reliable, patient, and ready to be part of a team Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus!
