Yosemite, CA Duties:
Performs construction, alterion, installion, repair, and modificion of items and structures such as framework, rafters, concrete forms, walls, doors, finished paneling, window frames, interior and exterior trims, staircases, trusses, beams, and other items. Serves as an inspector on outside contracts and on work performed by less than journeyman of the trade. Repairs doors, windows, wood substitute items, exterior siding, flooring, and interior fabric as necessary in the course of stabilizion/restorion, and to ensure completeness and structural integrity. Fabrices duplice replacements of deteriored wood members such as molding, beams, timbers and stairways.Physical Demands:
Works benches or while merials are on support which would require considerable standing, stooping and bending. Also works on ladders and scaffolds requiring overhead reaching and working in awkward positions. Must occasionally lift and carry up to 60-80 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift or move heavier items with the assistance of lifting devices or other workers.Working Conditions:
Work is done indoors and outdoors. Some work is performed in the shop area where incumbent is exposed to modere or high noise levels from opering machinery, saw dust in the air, glue fumes, and hazards associed with woodworking and reled power equipment. Incumbent is also exposed to the hazards of ladders and scaffolds and is subject to cuts, bruises, and contusions. Incumbent is required to use protective devices such as earplugs, safety glasses, respirors, gloves, etc. Requirements Help Conditions of employment U.S. Citizenship required.
