FULL TIME SALES AND PAWN BROKER NEEDED

Job Overview As a Pawn Broker, you will play a vital role in our retail environment by providing exceptional customer service while facilitating transactions involving loans and sales of various items. You will be responsible for assessing the value of items brought in by customers, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Evaluate and appraise items brought in for pawn or sale, ensuring accurate pricing based on market trends. Manage inventory through effective merchandising and stocking practices to maximize sales potential. Provide product demonstrations to customers, highlighting features and benefits to encourage purchases. Supervise staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, maintaining proper cash handling protocols. Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing sales and managing customer accounts. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Implement upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store to create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or a similar environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients. Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail math calculations. Proficient in using POS systems and other retail technology. Experience in supervising staff is highly desirable.
