Job Description:
The Role You will own Shoplazza and Suboitz's traffic, demand, and platform partnership strategy in North America - building the relationships, co-marketing motions, and product judgment that allow our merchants to acquire customers profitably across Google, Meta, TikTok, and emerging AI-native channels. This is not a performance marketing role for our own brand. This is a growth platform role : your mandate is to ensure every merchant on Shoplazza has access to the best traffic products, the deepest platform relationships, and the strategic guidance to convert ad dollars into GMV. You will be the public face of Shoplazza in the global ad-tech ecosystem. What You'll Own Executive-level platform relationships with Google (Ads, Shopping, GMC, AI Max), Meta (Advantage+, Shops, CAPI), TikTok (Shop, Smart+), and other major demand sources. You should already know the people who matter and be known by them. Strategic partnerships and co-GTM - beta access, MDF programs, certified partner status, joint launches, and executive sponsorship across major ad platforms. Traffic product judgment - deep, hands-on understanding of which ad products (PMax, Advantage+ Shopping, Smart+, Demand Gen) actually work for which merchant segments, and how to integrate them into Shoplazza's AI agent stack (Hermes for site building, Ares for ads, Athena for operations). Merchant-facing growth strategy for our top KA accounts - partnering with AM and BD teams to ensure our largest merchants are running the right playbooks. Channel expansion for Suboitz - building the traffic motion for AI agent companies acquiring subscribers, a fundamentally different funnel from physical goods. Who You Are 10+ years in performance marketing, ad-tech, or platform partnerships, with at least 3 years in a senior role at Google, Meta, TikTok, or a top-tier agency or SaaS commerce platform (Shopify, Klaviyo, Triple Whale, Northbeam, etc.). You have a personal rolodex of decision-makers at Google and Meta - partner managers, product leads, agency leads. Reference checks will validate this. You have the experience and credibility to sit across the table from CMOs of 9-figure DTC e-commerce brands or digital-product businesses (short-form video / drama, gaming, AI agent tools) - telling them with conviction why their PMax setup is leaving money on the table, and then translating that insight into a product requirement for our Ares agent team. You understand e-commerce attribution, MMM, incrementality testing, and feed optimization at a working level, not a buzzword level. You have operated in or with the China cross-border e-commerce ecosystem - or are eager to. A meaningful share of our merchants are Chinese sellers going global; cultural and operational fluency matters.
Bonus:
experience with AI-native ad products, agentic commerce, or subscription/SaaS growth funnels. Why This Role Matters Payments and traffic are the two resource businesses in commerce. Software can be built; relationships and judgment cannot. We are betting that the next decade of commerce belongs to platforms that deliver both - and we are hiring the two people who own them. Reporting directly to the CEO. Comp is competitive with senior platform partnership roles at Shopify, Klaviyo, or the major ad platforms - base, meaningful equity, and performance upside tied to merchant GMV growth. The company is on a path to public markets in the coming years. Location Based in San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles preferred. Frequent travel to Google (Mountain View) and Meta (Menlo Park) HQs, plus quarterly trips to APAC.
