Duties Stock shelves and organize produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items to ensure attractive displays and easy access for customers Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading deliveries using pallet jacks or forklifts as needed Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock checks, identifying discrepancies, and replenishing supplies promptly Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and supporting shoppers' needs Ensure cleanliness of the store by performing routine maintenance, cleaning shelves, and organizing storage areas Operate cash registers for cashiering duties while handling transactions efficiently and accurately Support merchandising efforts by arranging products to maximize sales potential and promote special offers Assist with packaging products for customers or internal use while adhering to safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during busy periods Experience Previous retail experience in grocery or warehouse environments is highly preferred Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is advantageous Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; certification may be required or provided upon hire Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customer bases Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking or unloading activities Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate pricing, weighing, and transaction processing Warehouse experience can enhance understanding of logistics and inventory flow Join us as a Grocery Clerk where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
