The Ayurvedic Practitioner role is ideal for a practitioner who understands Ayurveda as a whole-person system of care. We are looking for someone who can thoughtfully integrate Ayurvedic principles, dinacharya, nutrition, lifestyle, seasonal rhythms, and mind-body practices while adapting recommendations to the constitution, life stage, and needs of the individual woman in front of them. Ideal Practitioner Has training in Ayurveda, ideally through a NAMA-recognized or comparable program Understands Ayurveda as a whole-person system of care, not simply doshas, food lists, or supplements Can translate traditional Ayurvedic wisdom into practical, accessible guidance for modern life Is confident working with dinacharya, nutrition, digestion, seasonal rhythms, lifestyle, and mind-body practices Understands the changing needs of women through midlife and beyond Offers individualized recommendations based on the woman in front of them rather than rigid protocols Brings warmth, presence, curiosity, and excellent listening skills to consultations Values collaboration and is comfortable working alongside massage therapists, yoga therapists, and other practitioners Practices within their scope and knows when referral to another healthcare professional is appropriate Resonates with Ritual's approach: grounded, thoughtful, deeply caring, and rooted in both tradition and real life Sessions May Incorporate Ayurvedic constitution and imbalance assessment Dinacharya and daily rhythms Nutrition and digestive support Seasonal routines and practices Sleep and restorative practices Stress and nervous system support Movement and breath practices Mindfulness and meditation Self-care rituals Herbal education, within scope of practice Personalized lifestyle recommendations Ongoing support as needs and seasons change What Makes Ritual Unique Ayurveda is foundational, not an add-on. It informs how we think about care, rhythm, environment, and the client experience. Work within an integrative team. Collaborate alongside yoga therapists, massage therapists, and other complementary practitioners. A beautiful space designed for care. Thoughtfully designed treatment rooms and shared spaces support both practitioner and client. Depth over volume. We value meaningful, individualized care rather than rushed appointments or high-volume wellness. A focus on women in midlife. Support women navigating changing bodies, energy, stress, identity, and seasons of life. Freedom to practice thoughtfully. Bring your own training, perspective, and clinical judgment while working within Ritual's philosophy and scope. A living expression of Ayurveda. Seasonal rhythms, daily practices, nourishment, movement, rest, and ritual are woven throughout the center—not confined to the consultation room.
