Cocktail Class Instructor - Standard Proof Whiskey Co. Nashville, TN | Part-Time | $20/hour Standard Proof Whiskey Co. is looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable Cocktail Class Instructor to lead interactive cocktail-making experiences at our Nashville cocktail bar. This is a hands-on hospitality role. When cocktail classes are scheduled, you'll lead the experience from setup through cleanup. When classes are not taking place, you'll work alongside our bartenders, assisting with service and helping keep the bar stocked, clean, organized, and running smoothly. We're looking for someone who is comfortable both behind the bar and in front of a group - someone who can bring energy to a cocktail class and then jump in wherever needed during regular service. What You'll Do Lead engaging, hands-on cocktail classes for groups of varying sizes Walk guests through cocktail ingredients, techniques, and preparation Share knowledge about Standard Proof whiskey and the spirits used in each class Keep classes fun, approachable, and engaging for guests of all experience levels Prepare and organize ingredients, glassware, tools, and stations before each class Reset and clean the space following classes Assist bartenders with service when classes are not taking place Restock liquor, mixers, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other bar supplies Help with glassware, bussing, cleaning, and maintaining the bar and guest areas Provide friendly, attentive hospitality to guests throughout the space Jump in wherever needed to help the team and keep service running smoothly What We're Looking For Bartending or cocktail experience preferred Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups Friendly, energetic, and naturally engaging Working knowledge of basic cocktails and bartending techniques Willing to assist with all aspects of bar service when not teaching a class Dependable, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team Willing to learn Standard Proof spirits, cocktails, and brand story Available evenings, weekends, and for scheduled private events Must meet Tennessee requirements for serving alcohol Compensation $20/hour +tips About Standard Proof Standard Proof Whiskey Co. is a Nashville cocktail bar and whiskey brand built around approachable hospitality, creative cocktails, and a love of whiskey.
