Nutrition Specialist Bariatric Medicine NorthStar Medical Specialists is a multi-specialty medical practice, specializing in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Medical and Surgical Weight Management. We currently have a need for apart time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who specializes in nutrition education. We are seeking a PA-C or ARNP to perform a variety of duties in the evaluation, treatment planning, and management of patients. Candidate will assess patient medical history, including nutritional status, diet history, and food habits. Conducts individual sessions to discuss patient's nutritional needs and determine risk factors. Confers with physician and other clinicians as appropriate on effect of nutritional status. Candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and compassion when working with patients. Experience in Bariatric Medicine is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
