Job Description
Anesthesia Tech
A.T.T.) or Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.
A.T.). Experience with Rapid Transfuser and invasive intravenous patient lines required. Skills in setting priorities, organizing workload effectively and integrating multiple assignments with multilevel personnel. Skill in speaking English language with medical/surgical terminology. Ability to comply with department standards inclusive of attendance, dress code and varied work schedule. Knowledge of Infection control and health surveillance, OSHA, Universal Precautions, Waste Management, handling of hazardous substances and medical Device Act. Ability to meet physical requirements of the job relating to lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing 50lbs. or more. Extensive walking, standing and manual dexterity in operating equipment. Should have strong electronics background recommended as well as experience with anesthesia machines. BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
