- As a
- Lead Anesthesia Technician
- , you will play an important role in supporting the anesthesia team by preparing equipment and looking ahead to what they might need.
You will work closely with nurses and other staff to help create a safe and smooth experience for patients. In your leadership role, you will help train and guide your team and share updates on new processes and equipment to help ensure patients receive safe, high-quality care.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- + Preparing, organizing, and maintaining anesthesia equipment to ensure it is clean, functional, and ready for use + Anticipating the needs of anesthesia providers by setting up specialized carts, transporting equipment, and helping create efficient, safe operating room setups + Assisting with patient care activities, including patient transport, positioning, and helping place monitoring devices, while ensuring patient privacy and comfort + Supporting higher-level anesthesia tasks like intubation assistance or invasive monitoring and help respond in emergency situations + Maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment troubleshooting, infection prevention practices, and patient safety initiatives + Serving as a leader and resource for your team by interviewing candidates, training new staff, sharing updates on new processes and equipment, and fostering a warm, collaborative team environment •What qualifications you will need:•+
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or 2 years relevant experience +

BLS - 30

2 years relevant experience in acute healthcare or Supervisory role. +
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience worked as a staffing coordinator in large medical practice and acute care setting
