JOB DESCRIPTION

Eating disorder therapist works with clients with disordered eating behaviors (ARFID, AN, BED, BN, OSFED, etc).

Reports to:

Program Director. Nabor-hood Recovery, LLC is an eating disorder PHP (partial-hospitalization program) and IOP (intensive outpatient program) facility brand new to Long Beach, CA. We are seeking 1 part-time therapist

IN PERSON & 1

part-time VIRTUAL therapist to join our team. This is an adult program (ages 18+). The eating disorder therapist conducts individual and group sessions weekly. DUTIES

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to address a range of mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide crisis management and intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Therapist (e.g. LMFT) or MSW (Master's of Social Work)
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions (e.g. DBT, CBT, etc.).
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data collection and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• At least 1 year in working with eating disorders.
