We work with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting clients through life transitions, trauma recovery, identity exploration, and emotional healing using both traditional and expressive modalities. This position is ideal for licensed-eligible therapists who are eager to deepen their clinical work while making a tangible impact in a primarily Medi-Cal, community-based setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using DSM Provide individual, family, and occasional group therapy sessions Utilize a range of modalities including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, somatic/embodied approaches, expressive arts (art/dance), eco therapy and relational therapy Implement crisis intervention and safety planning when clinically indicated Provide care for a range of clinical presentations, including trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, and life transitions Maintain timely, accurate, and audit-ready documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, assessments) in compliance with HIPAA standards Collaborate with team members on care coordination and case consultation Utilize telehealth platforms as needed while maintaining ethical and legal standards Who You Are You believe in a whole-person approach to healing that integrates mind, body, and spirit You are warm, compassionate, and relational, with strong clinical presence You are organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with documentation and administrative tasks You are comfortable working with underserved and diverse populations, including Medi-Cal clients You are interested in growing your clinical skills and being part of a collaborative team Experience with trauma-informed care, expressive or somatic modalities, or group work is a plus Position Details Expected caseload: 22-25 clients per week We provide referrals and support in building your caseload Primarily a Medi-Cal clinic, serving a wide range of community needs Compensation & Benefits $55 per client hour $30 per short sessions / collateral sessions Minimum wage for supervision and administrative time W2 employee position 401(k) option available Please note: this position does not include health insurance or paid time off What We Offer A steady stream of referrals A supportive, engaged, and values-driven clinical team Opportunities to deepen your work in embodiment-based and integrative psychotherapy Meaningful work serving clients who may not otherwise have access to care If you are someone whose energy, presence, and clinical integrity support transformative healing—and you're excited to grow within a practice that values both depth and accountability—we would love to hear from you.
