An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Description:
Provides diagnostic assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders through individualized treatment plans according to the client's needs and or circumstances. Provide individual therapy to clients based on their needs, diagnoses, and best evidence-based practices. Have a sex positive approach to therapy. Facilitates transitions to appropriate levels of care via in-person, telephone or telehealth contact when needed. Tracks client progress through accurate record keeping adhering to regulatory requirements; modify treatment activities and approaches as needed to comply with changes in clients' status. Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations. Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 15 clinical hours; ability to work well with diverse populations. Strong consultative abilities and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, work effectively as part of a team and independently. Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making. Annual compensation begins between $60K-$80K depending on credentials and experience, with performance-based bonuses available. Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field required; licensure required i.e.LPC, LCPC.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have access to a personal laptop, iPad, or computer with a stable and reliable Wi-Fi connection, as well as a designated space to conduct sessions. Detail orientated and organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize. Time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required to service clients, leaders and clinical staff alike. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month. Must have experience working with sexual disorders. Must be able to work with diverse populations. Fee-for-service modelPhysical Requirements:
