Job Description

Help Serve Those Who Served Frontera Search is seeking a licensed Audiologist to perform disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans. This is an examination-only position ideal for clinicians looking for a structured, predictable schedule without the responsibilities of ongoing patient care in Bakersfield, CA. There are no treatment plans, hearing aid fittings, follow-up appointments, or long-term patient management. Your role is to conduct objective audiology evaluations, document your findings, and complete standardized VA disability reports that support Veterans' disability claims. Position Details Monday through Friday available schedule Part time; 1-2 10 hour days/week. 6 Veteran evaluations per day Electronic documentation system provided Start date based upon credentialing completion What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive audiology disability examinations Evaluate hearing-related conditions for disability determinations Perform objective clinical assessments and testing Complete accurate electronic documentation and examination reports Follow standardized VA disability examination protocols Provide a professional, respectful experience for every Veteran Why Audiologists Choose This Opportunity $600 - $650/day No treatment, hearing aid dispensing, or follow-up care No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities Structured workflow with clear expectations Dedicated credentialing and recruiter support throughout the assignment Qualifications Required Master's or Doctorate in Audiology from a CAA or ACAE accredited program Active Audiologist license Preferred Previous VA disability evaluation or Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination experience Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
