An experienced Audiologist is sought for a short-term assignment in a school setting, focused on completing an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) related to auditory processing. The position is onsite and will involve close collaboration with a school Nurse to ensure thorough and accurate evaluation. This assignment is ideal for clinicians seeking flexible, project-based work with impactful outcomes. The selected Audiologist will conduct a single auditory processing evaluation to be completed before the end of September.

Key Qualifications:

Active Illinois Audiologist License required Prior experience with pediatric or school-based auditory processing evaluations preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work with educational staff and families Ability to communicate findings in both written and verbal reports suitable for educational planning Professional, ethical approach to independent assessments

Role Responsibilities:

Perform a comprehensive auditory processing evaluation as part of an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) Coordinate and collaborate with a school Nurse and other educational team members as needed Document and communicate results effectively to ensure educational relevance Adhere to IL state and school requirements for all documentation and assessment protocols Provide expertise and recommendations based on findings, supporting informed educational decisions
