Key Qualifications:
Masters or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology from an accredited institution Active Texas Audiologist license Experience with pediatric populations, especially in a 1:1 or school-based setting Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ethical, evidence-based audiology practices Ability to adapt to the needs of students and educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for school-aged children Fit, program, and monitor hearing aids and assistive technology Develop and implement individualized audiological care plans Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines Consult with school staff and families to maximize auditory access and support learning objectives Provide education to students, staff, and caregivers around hearing health and hearing loss prevention Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care planning
