Key Qualifications:

Current RBT certification preferred, though paraprofessionals or candidates with strong experience supporting children with special needs and behavioral challenges are encouraged to apply. Experience working 1:1 with young children, particularly in school or educational settings. Background in behavior intervention plans or behavioral support strategies. Crisis Intervention training is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated educational team. Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to an assigned first-grade student throughout the school day. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a district BCBA. Assist with classroom integration, help build social and academic skills, and monitor student progress. Document daily activities, record data on student behaviors, and communicate updates with the educational team. Respond quickly and effectively to behavioral incidents, using crisis intervention best practices if trained. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
