School Programs Director Job Description:
Work in assigned school with Special Education students in a small group setting or one-on-one Assist teachers/administrators in implementing goals of student's IEP by providing behavioral and academic support Provide basic living skills and social skills training as needed Provide daily behavior assessment and student documentation Report to Supervisor as requestedMinimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field Minimum of 2 years experience working with at-risk youth and children with emphasis on individuals with special needs Training in non-violent crisis intervention techniques and appropriate physical restraint Strong interpersonal skills and able to build rapport easily with students, co-workers, parents, etc.
Work Schedule:
7:30-3:30, Monday-Friday, according to school calendar and scheduleSalary:
