In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, primarily based on applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote positive behaviors and skill development. Your compassionate approach and dedication will help clients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions to ensure treatment effectiveness Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and communication skills development Use behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and manage challenging behaviors through effective behavior management strategies Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to modify intervention strategies based on data and client needs Foster a safe, respectful environment that promotes trust and engagement during therapy sessions Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral health practices is essential Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is advantageous Experience assisting with ADLs and teaching functional skills aligns well with the responsibilities of this role Demonstrated ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain meticulous medical documentation Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients, families, and team members Join us in empowering individuals through compassionate care and innovative behavioral therapies.
