Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Take your Registered Behavior Technician expertise to the next level in a contract position supporting elementary school students near Monterey, CA. You'll spend the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year making a meaningful difference within a school environment. Multiple caseloads are available, primarily focused on 1:1 or 2:1 support models, and you'll follow the standard bell schedule for 35-40 hours per week. Compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $34 per hour, depending on experience.
What You'll Bring:
Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) licensure; inactive status is acceptable, with BCBA supervision provided At least 1 year of ABA experience in school-based settings Crisis intervention and de-escalation training Excellent verbal and written communication skills Collaborative spirit and adaptability Reliable transportation for on-time attendance
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering individualized behavioral interventions, primarily with elementary-aged students across a spectrum of support needs Collaborating with school staff, supervisors, and families to optimize student progress Maintaining accurate documentation and data collection in accordance with school and RBT standards Participating in training and professional development offered throughout your assignment Responding calmly and competently to crisis situations as needed What's in It for
