In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress, support skill development, and improve quality of life for clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan Support clients during structured teaching sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams about client progress and behavior management strategies Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, ensuring consistency across all environments Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively Strong data collection skills and attention to detail for tracking behavioral progress Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Prior experience in home-based behavioral therapy or school settings is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral therapy.
